Two price models for physical stores
If you have a physical store and want to accept Dankort payments, you can choose between two pricing models: Dankort FIXED and Dankort PERCENT.
Read about the two models below and check the table to find out which one is the most cost-effective for your business.
Dankort PERCENT
Dankort PERCENT is a price model based on a percentage of each sale, rather than a fixed subscription fee.
Your business is placed in price group 1–10 depending on the total number of transactions you've had over the past four quarters. The transaction fee you pay depends on which group you’re in. You’re billed monthly in arrears.
The key advantage of Dankort PERCENT is that your costs follow your revenue, meaning if you don’t sell anything, you don’t pay for your Dankort agreement.
Dankort FIXED
If you choose Dankort FIXED, you pay a fixed monthly subscription fee*, which is automatically withdrawn from your bank account. The price is based on a combination of the number of transactions you've had over the past four quarters and your average sales amount.
Whether your average sales price is above or below 210 DKK also affects your subscription price. The average is calculated based on your sales from the past four quarters.
The key benefit of Dankort FIXED is the predictability, since you know exactly what your costs will be each month.
*Quarterly billing is also available. If your Dankort FIXED agreement was created before July 1, 2021, you're automatically billed quarterly unless you switch to monthly billing via MyNets.
