Your Dankort transactions are also consolidated on a single invoice, settled once a month. This simplifies your accounting and gives you a better financial overview.
You can accept payments offline
If you experience network issues or outages, you can still accept Dankort payments. The terminal just needs to be manually set to offline mode to complete the transactions.
During payment, the customer inserts their card and enters their PIN. The payment is stored in the terminal and automatically transferred once the connection is restored.
Dankort is Visa/Dankort and Mastercard Dankort as well
With a Dankort agreement, you can benefit from the low fees on Dankort when your customers pay with both Visa/Dankort and Mastercard Dankort. You also ensure that you can accept payments from customers using pure Dankort.
No matter which type of Dankort your customers use, a Dankort agreement is required for the payment to be processed as a Dankort payment.
Not all payment terminals support Dankort. If your terminal can’t accept Dankort, payments made with Visa/Dankort and Mastercard Dankort won’t be processed as Dankort payments even if you have a Dankort agreement.
