Frequently asked questions regarding the two Dankort price models
Having two Dankort price models makes it possible for us to offer competitive prices on Dankort for all retail segments. By having two different price models, we offer an attractive product for you, regardless of your business size and type.
When you have a physical shop, you can choose between two different Dankort price models, Dankort FIXED and Dankort PERCENT. Dankort FIXED
With Dankort FIXED, you pay a fixed subscription price depending on how many transactions you have per year, ie. depending on whether you are in price group 1-10. Payment for your subscription is charged quarterly and we always go back 4 quarters when your business is placed in a given price group. However, the actual price of your subscription also depends on whether your average sales price is above or below DKK 175. The average sales price is calculated based on the number of sales in the previous 4 quarters. The advantage of the subscription model is that you know, what your expenses will be each quarter. Example: If your store has had 16,500 transactions within the last four quarters, then you will be placed in price group 4. If your average sales price is equal to or less than DKK 175, then you are charged DKK 2,495 in subscription for the last quarter.
Dankort PERCENT Your second choice is built up as a percentage price model, where you instead of paying a fixed subscription price, you pay a percentage of the sales price for each item sold. Your business will then be placed in price group 1-10, depending on how many transactions you have had in total within the last 4 quarters. The percentage transaction fee then depends on which price group you are placed in. You are still charged quarterly. The advantage of this model is that your expenses follow your income, ie. if you do not sell anything, you have no expenses. Example: If your store has had 30,000 transactions within the last four quarters, then you are in price group 5. You hereby pay 0.22 % of the sales price in transaction fee for a given item in this price band. If the item is sold e.g. for DKK 50, they correspond to 0.22 % of the sales price to 11 øre in transaction fee.
